Easy spray application

Shorn sheep pass through a portable automatic spray unit, where they receive an even coating of Thermoskin spray. These units are purpose-designed and manufactured in New South Wales, Australia.

The spray units have undergone several stages of development, with users playing an important role by providing practical expertise and feedback throughout the design process. Each generation has incorporated progressive improvements, resulting in a unit that is efficient, safe, easy to operate, and simple to clean.

These spray units have 5 spray heads, one on top, two on mid-sides and two on lower sides. It is placed at the end of a race. The sheep enter the spray unit one at a time to ensure total coverage and protection. It is important to clean the unit after it has been used each day to make sure the spray heads do not get blocked. This cleaning procedure is simple and quick.

The following instructions explain the correct operation and daily cleaning procedures for the spray units. We remain committed to ongoing product development, with the most recent design introduced in 2005. Instructions for the previous two models are also included for owners who continue to use those units.

Thermoskin Spray Unit 2021 Model

If you are using a unit which is marked '2021 Model', it has been modified to include -

• A new pump and valve. Remember to drain the valve as per instructions. 
• The Sensor and primer Switch is on the left-hand side above the pump rather than on the right as in the original model.
• It has been transformed from 240 volts down to 12 volts.
