About THERMOSKIN®
THERMOSKIN® is the product of many years work with growers in Australia & NZ to find a cost effective protection method for sheep, after they are shorn in weather that may negatively affect their condition and mortality.
The result of this work is….
A spray on Lanolin based product that places a fine, totally natural, film all over the freshly shorn sheep to help the sheep maintain a consistent body temperature, irrespective of the conditions, for up to 6 weeks after it is applied.
Normally, after shearing when it’s cold and wet, or just cold, the sheep all huddle together, shivering. That means they are not only losing weight from shivering, they are also losing condition because they are not grazing. This is why THERMOSKIN® is so valuable.
Applying THERMOSKIN® allows the sheep to graze comfortably, not huddling together and shivering. THERMOSKIN® results have shown time and time again, that sheep sprayed with the product can actually gain weight after shearing. Is that a result you would like to see for your sheep?
