After years of drought we went into a period of unprecedented 'wet'. We were aproaching shearing and it was weather in which you could lose a lot of sheep. We were discussing this with a client who recommended to us we use Thermoskin, as he said it was one of the best products he had ever used. We did this on 1500 stud ewes and after seeing the results for ourselves then decided to Thermoskin another 1500 commercial ewes that we had originally not intended doing. We also found that despite the terrible weather, our instance of preg tox was also reduced by the use of Thermoskin with the ewes returning to the paddock so much happier.
Thermoskin saved us a lot of time and a lot of worry.

Currently, the driving force behind the innovation and production of the quality products of Down Under Technologies is Henry King.
Henry has a long and distinguished history in the hands-on creation of commercially viable products. This plethora of experience started before 1969 when Henry completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry at the
University of
NSW because whilst studying, Henry was employed as a trainee in the chemical/aerosol industry.
Henry is extremely practical in his analysis and production of products due to his understanding of the commercial process which he gained from experience with multi national corporations, and from operating his own manufacturing business for almost 20 years including formulation and product development.

In later years, Henry has been a Consulting and Manufacturing Chemist for Zestwin, and has also presented papers and conducted workshops at various conferences around the world.
Since 1968, Henry has been a member of the
Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and has prepared, reviewed and updated position papers on behalf of the ASCC. He has served as President, Chairman of the Technical Committee and was Organizing Chairman of the first International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists World Congress in Sydney. Henry is currently a member of the Technical and Australian Industry Committees.
Henry is committed, competent, innovative, and productive, and over the last 40+ years has proved his integrity and ability to deliver results. Henry is dedicated to making a difference to sheep farmers and continues to look for innovative ways to provide efficiencies and improve productivity which helps growers achieve better and better returns. |
